Mission context Within the document design squad, we are looking for someone that will do the technical analysis (based on the requirements of the stakeholders), design and testing of documents in all languages.
As a member of the agile team, the DEV engineer applies several useful skills (analysis / design / development / testing / integration), which in combination with the skills of the other members of the team compose all required skills to deliver a product at the end of each sprint.
Function  description
  • Make detailed technical analysis of requested documents.
  • Data modelling: xml, xsd.
  • Programming the lay-out and logic of the documents using the DOC1/Engage One Designer tool.
  • Unit testing: write and execute test cases.
  • Deployment in different non-production environments.
  • Estimation of development workload and impact analysis.
  • Support test management in the execution of tests (including bug fixing)
  • Documentation of development activities (design, code, unit testing, code review)

The DEV Engineer commits to help the team to deliver a product at the end of each sprint, surpassing his/her own specific knowledge domain in order to collaborate with the team members. The focus is on the completion of the sprint backlog, containing all elements that the team must deliver and of which the sequence has been determined by the Product Owner based on the added value for the (internal or external) client.
The DEV Engineer adheres to the scrum values (focused, committed, open, respectful, and courageous) and is able to closely collaborate with the team members. Knowledge sharing, open communication, continuous learning and commitment to deliver added value are key.

Education Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience
Belgian resident
  • Expectation: 50% on site & 50% homeworking
Required experience / knowledge At least 4 years of relevant experience
Technical experience mandatory
  • DOC 1 / Engage One Design or equivalent document design tool.
  • Xml, xsd.
  • MS Office
Business experience mandatory
